The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) announced that SecRep B.V. has been approved as a Securitisation Repository, effective 30 June 2021. SecRep B.V. is based in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and will serve all public issuance of Asset Backed Securities or Securitisations which must, by law, report data and documentation into a regulated Securitisation Repository. SecRep B.V. receives this data and documentation from securitisation issuers and makes it available to Data Receivers, as defined in the Regulation. This repository service is for securitisation market professionals only: issuers, professional investors, potential professional investors and regulators.
