Over SCHUIT

SCHUIT represents the multidisciplinary work of young designers. SCHUIT organises exhibitions every three months on various locations.

SCHUIT seeks to work with designers and artists who create original work, stretching the boundaries of their field with a focus on the body and materialisation.

SCHUIT started with exhibiting unique clothing by emerging designers, showcasing the pieces as art objects in set editions. These works were all born within the academic bubble of pure creativity, without commercial restrictions or the pressure to compromise to regular fashion cycles. As a crew SCHUIT and the designers selected the key pieces from their graduation collections and invested in further development and production processes.

SCHUIT has developed by continuing to contribute and work with the designers it started with and exhibit new designers and artists expanding our notion of what stretches the boundaries of how we perceive the body, what we wear and the space in between, expressed in all disciplines of the arts.
