Who of you In the developed countries is concerned about clean drinking water? Clean safe drinking water is essential for survival. One can survive days without food, but only for a very short time without water.

We daily enjoy the luxury of clean drinking water from the kitchen tap!

But things are different in West Africa: many farming families have to make daily trips to get water from rivers, creeks and other water sources.

In Sierra Leone, 21 new born babies die every day. And 8 % of the children don't even survive until their fifth aniversary!

Is it fair that, for instance in the developed countries like the Netherlands everyone uses about 130 liters of clean and safe drinking water from the tap every day and water the garden effortless, while these African farming families often spend more than an hour every day fetching water? And it is not even safe, with bacteria and viruses when drinking it?

WE THINK THIS SHOULD CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!

Starting with simple home-use clean water filters for farmer families in Sierra Leone and later install drilling wells and installing water pumps. In this way we immediately assure them of clean water for a healthy life.

By building wells and water pumps, more and cleaner water becomes available close to their homes, minimizing walking distances.

And water availability creates the opportunity of land irrigation, improving crop yield; food security and a higher income for the families, who now live at the absolute minimum level.
