Over Rubberboot Missie

The Rubberboot Missie (Inflatable Boat Mission is a annual tour of Inflatable boats trough the historic canals of Utrecht, The Netherlands. The first edition of the 'Mission' in 2011 as a small event with around 30 participants. The goal was to 'just have fun' and 'enjoy the city's historic old town from another perspective'. In the second year the number of participants had increased to around 600 people (and 1 dog). The finish line was close to a small venue, where we held a 'afterparty' which was sold out twice (around 200 tickets sold). The Rubberboot Missie is a free event and our goal is to keep it that way.
