That's what I do. I sit at the intersection of privacy law, cybersecurity governance, AI regulation, and IT-law — and I turn complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategy. Not with endless slide decks, but with clear advice that boards, CISOs, and DPOs can act on immediately.

My practice, Rijker Advisory, serves organizations where the stakes are real: financial institutions under AFM/DNB supervision, government ministries handling sensitive citizen data, listed companies managing cross-border data flows, and healthcare organizations navigating strict sector-specific regulation.

I hold the full IAPP certification suite (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, FIP), CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CEH, and an MBA — with a DBA in progress. I'm also building the AI Governance Academy: structured training programs to help organizations and professionals navigate the EU AI Act and ISO 42001.

Before launching my own practice, I worked at a leading Amsterdam technology law firm and a major consultancy. Today I work independently — same caliber, without the overhead.
