We are happy to present our featured artist - Nasr Azarmehr, a well-known artist from Iran, was born in Isfahan (Iran) in 1977 in an artistic family. His father, mother and grandfather were all artists, art runs through his genes. Nasr studied the history of art at Teheran University from 2001-2008. He taught at Teheran and Isfahan universities from 2007 –2011.

Nasr combined his teaching with restoration work arranged via the central state organisation in Iranian museums. Since youth, Nasr has been an active creating sculptor. As a restorer he works in line with modern thinking, specialising in techniques whereby the restoration may be (completely or partially) reversed.

Nasr is an all-round artist with restoration as his speciality. All kind of materials can be brought back to its origin. Like for instance; sculptures, paintings, antique furniture, carpets and fresco’s.

A diversity of materials like glass, wood, iron, stone and bronze small and (very) large, are turned into beautiful pieces of art.
