Over RESiLICON

At RESiLICON, a Strategic Project under the EU Net-Zero Industry Act, we are committed to securing Europe’s future by sustainably producing ultra-pure polysilicon with a strong value proposition for the solar, semiconductor and battery industries.

Europe urgently needs substantial volumes of polysilicon to support the rapid growth of these sectors. In fact, approximately 140,000 tons of polysilicon will be needed each year, requiring the construction of four to five large-scale polysilicon plants.

Building reliable, high-quality production capacity within Europe will be essential to reducing import dependency and strengthening critical industrial supply chains.

Our planned facility at Groningen Seaports in the Netherlands, is being designed to deliver high-quality polysilicon production with a strong focus on energy efficiency, operational performance and innovation.

We are proud of the impact this project can have, not only for Europe’s industrial resilience, but also for our investors, customers, and the Province of Groningen.

We believe our products will unlock critical advantages for Europe’s energy and technology future, supporting areas such as artificial intelligence, data centres, and the defence industry.

Born out of the supply chain vulnerabilities exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, RESiLICON was founded to support European industry and strengthen Europe’s self-reliance in critical materials. We are committed to building a stable and future-ready foundation for Europe’s energy transition and technological growth.

With pre-FEED now complete, we are advancing the next phase of engineering and project development, bringing RESiLICON another step closer to realisation.
