Johanna, also known as “Johanna in the Clouds,” is a distinctive student housing complex of SSH located at Utrecht Science Park. Its striking blue-and-white tiled façade makes it one of the most recognizable buildings on campus. Completed in 2015, the building is now home to more than 655 national and international students. With a mix of shared and independent living spaces, Johanna offers a diverse, vibrant, and inclusive residential community.

The Residential Board represents the voice and interests of everyone living in Johanna. Our board is made up of five residents who serve as the primary link between SSH and the Johanna community. We work to ensure clear communication, strengthen collaboration, and contribute to a positive and well-managed living environment.

We support residents with matters related to: • Building facilities • Community well-being • Questions, concerns, and improvement initiatives • Contributing to the enhancement of Utrecht Science Park

Our mission is simple: to make sure every resident feels heard, supported, and at home. We are dedicated to continuously improving the living experience and actively contributing to a thriving atmosphere at Utrecht Science Park.
