Turning obsolete law into access to justice.

Recyclawble is an emerging social startup based in Rotterdam, powered by the Erasmus Startup Hub and developed under Enactus Erasmus University Rotterdam.

We aim to transform the annual obsolescence of Dutch law books into a sustainable source of funding for legal aid. Every year, thousands of law bundles (Collegebundels and Rechtbundels) lose their legal validity and are discarded by students, firms, and libraries. Recyclawble aspires to collect these volumes, partner with certified recycling companies to recover their high-quality paper, and direct the proceeds toward making legal assistance accessible to those who cannot afford it.

By merging sustainability with social justice, Recyclawble seeks to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
