The RCE Rhine-Meuse is one of the 154 RCEs globally, striving to bring together Education, Industry, Science and Regional Authorities in ‘Education for Sustainable Development’, acknowledged by United Nations University. The Rhine-Meuse region is one of the oldest European regions, connecting the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The RCEs main and groundbreaking innovations comes together in ‘The OPEDUCA Project’, a cooperative effort of many that work on the most optimal development of the young generation in order to base a more sustainable society and ecology. OPEDUCA is built by a range of RCEs and other regions that strive to excel in learning and education. More info on OPEDUCA can be found on www.opeduca.eu . After a successful phase of developing and testing in practice The OPEDUCA Project will be set in motion as of 2018 to base a local-to-global learning space, empowering and connecting youth to learn AAAA - Anytime, Any place, with Anybody, through Any device - on the themes that will define their and our common sustainable future.
