Prometheus Capital is the University of Amsterdam (UvA) & Benelux’s leading student-run investment association, founded at the University of Amsterdam.

We operate with institutional-grade aim across three desks: Equity, Research, and Quantitative, giving our 85+ active analysts real exposure to the frameworks, tools, and processes that define industry finance.

Our work spans equity research notes, quantitative strategies and macroeconomic, FICC analysis, through Equity Research Notes and FICC, ECM, DCM macroeconomic Weekly Market Radars and thematic reviews.

We bring students to the industry, with events with/at ING, Van Lanschot Kempen, ABN AMRO, Morningstar, connecting our analysts directly with leading financial firms. We layer our partnerships with Wall Street Oasis and with the CFA Institute for our Analysts to gain as much exposure and top tier training as possible while working on the desks so that they are able to best convert into the job market.

Our mission is simple: turn learning into real world industry workflows. We equip students with the skills, rigor, and experience to compete at the highest levels, preparing them for careers in Equity Research, Investment Banking, ECM, Wholesale Banking, and Commodity Markets.
