Premiumropes is a rope manufacturer, wholesaler and Europe’s leading webstore for yachting ropes, hardware and steelwire rigging.

With locations in Amsterdam and Kiel, we support sailors, boatbuilders and marine professionals across Europe and beyond.

We design, produce and finish high-performance running rigging, mooring lines and custom solutions in house. Every line is made for reliability, durability and smooth handling on board.

Our team combines technical knowledge with practical sailing experience. From cruising to racing. From dinghies to superyachts.

You can order your ropes with a variety of splices. The company founder, Jan-Willem Polman, is the author of the renowned book 'Splicing modern ropes'. We have a team of specialists here every day splicing ropes, swaging steel wire and packing orders for our customers. Our team of riggers travel around the world to fit out mega racing yachts with the best ropes.

Besides your running rigging and deck hardware you can also order your standing rigging our webshop. In a few simple steps we explain how to measure your stays and guardrail and then custom order them on our website.

We are keen to share our knowledge and teach everybody how to splice ropes. We give regular workshops throughout Europe (or in our own office in Amsterdam and Kiel) for sailingclubs. To this end we have developed the App ‘Ropesplicing’ that walks you through every splice imaginable with zoomable pictures and clear instructions. The App is free in Google Play and the App store.
