Over PostHarvest Network

The Postharvest Network is a community of Dutch companies, NGOs, knowledge institutes and governmental organizations that work together to reduce postharvest losses in developing and emerging countries. It offers a platform and portal for companies working in developing and emerging countries that are in search of solutions for their operations in the postharvest supply chain, as well as for improvements in their supply chain performance. We develop hands-on solutions for the complex problem of reducing losses in developing and emerging countries’ fresh supply chains by applying practical and proven knowledge, experience and solutions to the local situation. Necessary preconditions are a good understanding of the local problem and the involvement of local stakeholders. As an interface for companies and knowledge institutes, the Postharvest Network establishes a connection for companies both in the Netherlands and abroad by matching demand and supply of postharvest expertise.
