Photography is all about capturing the essence of what you see in front of you, whether it be a person, nature or architecture and using light and shade as your medium. My art photography explores the dynamics of light, shade, extremes and emotions. When completing a piece of work you create a balance between what you saw when taking the image and what you perceived it to become in your mind. The magic of photography, connecting to your subject matter and showing the soul of someone who trusts you to capture a moment in time is one which never ceases to energise me in my work.
