Over Positive Impact Society Erasmus PISE

PISE is a student group part of the global movement of Effective Altruism (EA) which focuses on questions such as 'What are the world's most pressing problems?' and 'How can we use our resources to most effectively tackle these?'.

PISE has been active for 4 years now, and as of 2024 has become a recognized student association at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Our association currently has approximately 30 members, and we run introductory fellowships to Effective Altruism, book clubs, workshops and discussion nights, and projects with some of our most engaged members. Based on the newest impact research, we host events and courses with experts, connect students to impact-oriented career advisors, and more! That's how we help you have more impact.

We started at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, but we intensively collaborate with other individuals from universities in the Netherlands and beyond.
