Over Pongo Foundation
Estimates of orangutan wild populations show an alarming situation, where orangutans could become the first great ape species to go extinct without help. Pongo Foundation acts regionally in the Netherlands and locally in Indonesia, where support is crucial for the survival of the species and where root campaigns are implemented by the foundation. It is a non-political, culturally aware and conservation driven NGO.
