PNA stands for ‘Professor Nijssen Associates’. PNA Group is the legal trade name of Nijssen Adviesbureau voor Informatica BV which was founded by Professor Dr. G.M. Nijssen and started operations in 1989. PNA Group is member of the Object Management Group (OMG) and is the author and (co)-contributor to many world standards, including SBVR, ORM and CogNIAM. PNA is considered a thought leader in the field of fact-based business modeling. PNA Group is specialized in knowledge management and knowledge management methodologies, such as NIAM and more recently CogNIAM (Cognition enhanced NIAM) and SBVR. CogNIAM is adopted by SBVR and was developed entirely within PNA Group. This collection of skills and techniques makes it possible to practically implement and exploit knowledge management by using natural language (one’s native language).
