Platemate is a patented product owned by Horena Trading Holland BV. The idea for this product came to life 31 years ago, with the intention to create a smart solution for the lack of space in restaurants and kitchens. This problem, lack of space within kitchens and fridges to store plates with prepared foods, was longing to be solved by an innovative product.

This problem which many restaurants and companies within the hospitality industry are facing, is a big issue, especially in busy periods when there is almost no room to store foods in a decent, convenient and hygienic way.

This together with the fact that kitchens are changing, with the result that new devices are getting smaller and more efficient, which in its turn results in smaller storage space.

The solution Platemate offers creates an opportunity to present your foods differently and more efficiently. There is more room for extra ingredients on the plates, bigger amounts of mise and place can be stored.

Another advantage of Platemate is that you easily can place and generate your prepared plates and mise place in a combined steamer.
