Pijpenkabinet is the world's most extensive and best documented collection of smoking pipes, convering the period from 500 BC to today in over 30.000 items. The collection is on permanet display in an typical Amsterdam canal house along Prinsengracht. Public information is posted on the website and published in numerous books and articles. In 2013 the museum changed name and is now called Amsterdam Pipe Museum.
