Over Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe Association

The Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE) is an Association under Dutch law, with the aim of developing pharmacy along the lines of pharmaceutical care through stimulation of pharmaceutical care research in Europe, coordination of international research and implementation projects and organisation of workshops, bi-annual working conferences and symposia.

PCNE currently associates 166 international members: 25 honorary members, 80 institutional members (representing 30 institutions), 45 individual members and 16 observers.

PCNE has three working groups: Medication Review, Drug-related Problem classification, Pharmaceutical Care Guidelines and Indicators and Medication Adherence.

Current board members are: - Dorothee Michel (Chair, Germany, also affiliated at Robert Gordon University, Scotland) - Ina Richling (Secretary, SJG St. Paulus GmbH, St. Johannes Hospital, Dortmund, Germany) - Ivana Tadic (University of Innsbruck, Austria) - Marina Odalovic (University of Belgrade, Serbia) - Kjell H. Halvorsen (University of Tromsø, Norway) - Liv Mathiesen (University of Oslo, Norway)

The professional secretariat is run by Prof. Kurt Hersberger (Switzerland).
