It develops students multilingual repertoires and thus their ability to engage with academic concepts in all their identity languages.

It empowers teachers to provide differentiated, culturally responsive learning materials and experiences.

It forms a foundation on which a diverse, inclusive, internationally-minded school culture can be built, maintained, and strengthened.

It brings parents and the wider community into the school and learning process as language experts with respect and dignity.
