Historically, assessing particle deposition meant time-consuming microscopic examination of witness plates. The Particle Deposition Monitor changes that. The PDM is a measurement system that images the surface of a glass witness plate, detecting, sizing, and counting every deposited particle down to 5 µm, including fibers. With a precision and efficiency that manual inspection simply cannot match.
