Orion Consulting Associates BV (OCA) is specialised in rural infrastructure development. OCA believes that infrastructure and public service delivery should be planned, designed, implemented and sustained to the maximum benefit of its target user group(s). OCA and its core staff have managed and implemented infrastructure and development projects in many countries in Asia, Africa, and the Pacific. OCA is specialised in the development of appropriate technology in rural infrastructure construction and maintenance and effective implementation methods, and above all in capacity development of local government, community based organisations and small contracting service providers. OCA is particularly strong in development and use of appropriate technologies in rural road O&M, optimising the use of local resources and local procured implementation capacity in road construction and maintenance, irrigation schemes and pedestrian infrastructure development.
