Over Operation Guara Roja

Guara Roja are a charity dedicated firstly to providing direct on the ground assistance to those affected by both storms to recently pass through Honduras. Secondly to provide the tools and resources to allow those communities to rebuild.

Our Mission and Vision Statement are found below.

Mission statement: As an organization our aim is in highlighting and solving troubles faced by Hondurans on a daily basis, in the immediate wake of storms Eta and Iota and beyond. We want to assist those affected by providing funds and resources to rebuild their lives and communities. Our goal is to take active steps to address the inhumane and unhealthy conditions faced by Hondurans struggling with extreme poverty everyday.

Nuestro objetivo es dar a conocer y ayudar a resolver los problemas que los Hondureños viven en su dia a dia, empezando por la devastación generada por los huracanes ETA y Iota. Nuestro propósito es asistir a aquellos afectados por la catástrofe mediante la recaudación de fondos para ayudarlos a reconstruir sus vidas y comunidades. Nuestra meta es tomar pasos para hacer frente a las condiciones inhumanas y poco saludables que enfrentan los Hondureños batallando contra un nivel extremo de pobreza.

Values: Addressing social disparities for Honduran citizens in need. Preventing longer lasting damage from natural disasters. Encouraging feet on the ground NGO action to assist Honduran citizens. Encouraging Sustainable efforts to be made by NGOs to prepare for potential natural disasters in future.

Hacer frente a la disparidad social que afecta a los ciudadanos Hondureños damnificados. Prevenir daños a largo plazo de desastres naturales. Fomentar mayor acción de parte de las ONG para asistir a la ciudadanía Hondureña. Fomentar acción Sustentable de parte de las ONG para prepararse para futuras catástrofes.
