Over Ojc Solution

Ojc Solution is a youth center in Hillegom (a town in the Dune and Bulb Region of the Netherlands). We work with volunteers, preferably youngsters (age 14 till 25). We organize (urban) cultural activities like: Theater, Music (bands, disco, etc.), Workshops, Youth Cafe, Film, etc.. The volunteers (youngsters) organize these activities for other youngsters of there own age. The mission of Ojc Solution is by letting these youngsters create and organize there own activities, they can learn skills. This can be general skills like co-working, organizing and communicating together, but also specific skills like stagecraft and graphic design. In this way the youngsters are working on their personal development. We have a large building with two halls. The small one is called “De Hut” and we use it as a Youth Cafe. It has small stages where acoustic bands can give a performance. In the large hall is are main stage, this is where we organize activities for a large public (+100).
