What is Nutrition4Health? It is common knowledge that nutrition is important for health. What is much less known is that nutrition during the first 1,000 days, from conception to 2 years old, are crucial for our long-term health. That’s also true after the first 1000 days, but the importance of those early days is unquestionable. What we eat makes a difference for the rest of our life and our baby’s life!

I am a passionate ambassador of the importance of nutrition for health, especially in early life. With extensive experience as a pediatrician / neonatologist and more recently as the Chief Scientific Officer for a major multinational group*, I have wide-ranging expertise in the research and development of nutritional solutions. (*Danone Nutricia Research is one of the largest infant formula companies in the world.) I am also a strong advocate for educating health care providers and (future) parents on the importance of early-life nutrition for health. My core business proposition is to align health care, research and development, and business values to help clients achieve their goals.
