Over No Bridge Too Far

In a remote region of Morocco, many villages share a school and a hospital, but are separated by a river. Most of the year it is dry enough to cross but every winter the river floods for periods up to two months. This results in many villages being cut off, not only from healthcare and education, but also the national road network for general supplies. This creates several problems for school children and the sick. As such our team has assembled to construct a 32 meter long bridge to overcome this issue. The team is working on the designing, calculations, permits, implementation, health and safety, and the eventual construction of the bridge. This project is a humanitarian project. All members volunteer their time and work. This also means that all funding for the purchasing of materials is done through sponsorship.
