Nightlife Care Network is a monthly consultation hour organised by the N8BM A'DAM foundation, Centram, Jellinek Prevention and Buurtteam Amsterdam Centrum. Amsterdam nightlife participants can come to us if they have any questions or want to talk about what they experience while going out.

The Amsterdam nightlife offers the opportunity for fun and is an outlet for many people. It's a way to escape from daily stresses, responsibilities, or pressure to perform. The night can be a valuable place to discover yourself and meet new people. For some, the night is the only place where they can be themselves. However, some may also experience the less pleasant sides of nightlife. We see that not everyone feels equally safe or accepted. Some people who go out often may use alcohol and other drugs more often than they might like. Some may struggle with feelings of loneliness or face financial problems. We also see other risky behaviour on the dance floor, such as aggression or (sexually) transgressive behaviour.

The Nightlife Care Network connects various care and aid organisations with nightlife and is carried out by professionals who also have a background in nightlife. They understand better than anyone the importance of night culture, and also the risks involved. With the consultation hour, we want to offer accessible help for everyone who experiences challenges during the night, free from judgement or taboo.
