In 1988 the NEPA Group initially started operations as an agency for trades between South East Asia and Northern Europe, steadily growing to become a diversified group of companies with its expertise in many areas of shipping. Today, the NEPA Group with its affiliates provides services in the following fields: Ship operator (Med-Asia, Nepa Transport, Orient Asia Lines (OAL)) Sales & purchase brokerage for all types of seagoing vessels Project management for maritime ventures Comprehensive technical ship and crew management Consultancy & risk evaluation, insurance & claims handling Ship Agency services in Northern Europe with focus on the Netherlands, incl. stevedoring, warehousing, forwarding & transshipment (on land & sea) NEPA continues to have its home base in Amsterdam, but has established an international network of dependencies, with worldwide offices and representations, as well as local agents and brokers. “Think global, act local”, this is the principle that remains to be the hallmark of NEPA’s global operations.
