The Nederlandse Beleggingsmaatschappij voor Zeeschepen NV (NBZ) is the only listed investment fund that invests exclusively in existing seagoing vessels. The closed-end fund was established in 2006 and is an innovator with distinctive ideas about diversification, transparency and investment policy.

NBZ strives for a balanced investment portfolio. NBZ's investments are spread over various vessels in very distinct maritime shipping segments. That means a spread that is rarely seen in shipping investments. In addition, NBZ prefers fixed rental contracts so cash flows can be better predicted.

NBZ has shown a stable track record in recent years with a gross return on the investment portfolio of approximately 12%. NBZ is listed at Euronext Amsterdam.
