Over Music Club Fortissimo

Music Club Fortissimo is a student music association that has been active since 2019 with both an orchestra and a band.

Under the direction of conductor Katerina Sampakou, the orchestra brings together students and alumni from Tilburg who share a passion for making music.

And those who do not play an instrument that fits the orchestra are welcome to join the MCff band, adding a whole new musical dimension to our association.

Our members have different backgrounds and levels of experience, creating an open community where music and friendship go hand in hand.

The orchestra rehearses on Monday evenings at Tilburg University and performs a repertoire that ranges from classical works to contemporary film scores. The band comes together on Thursdays at Factorium to jam all kinds of songs.

In addition to our concerts, MCff also organises a variety of social activities for our musicians AND social members, which means we spread our fun also to those who do not play an instrument.

Our goal is to provide students who can read sheet music and play an instrument with the opportunity to actively make music together (again) during their time at university, while also enjoying a supportive and inspiring environment.
