M3X , vof , was registered in 2000, In 2010 we changed it to the form of zzp To facilitate consulting in the areas of the analysis of multi sensor data. Preferable the complexity of the data is such that expertise in pattern recognition is required. The professional basis for our consultancy is made up of equal parts of physics and computer assisted data analysis mixed with a skeptical approach to hypes. As a professor of Remote Sensing and Image Analyses at University of Twente, I have supervised MSc and PhD students in projects of computer assisted interpretation of photographic-, multispectral scanner- and microwave data. As a professor of Remote Sensing and Head Image Processing Lab at the ITC, in addition to my work at the UT, I have cooperated with a large number of Earth Scientists in the area of image analysis and expert systems. My first job as a geophysical analyst added experience in 3 Dim modelling. At Delft University "Technische Natuurkunde", I acquired Pattern Recognition. Applications were a) artficial Neural Network (software and hardware, AMOS) b) computer assisted analysis of chromosome pictures. As a Meteo Officer I acquired a liking for chaotic systems From this broad background we can provide a balanced advice on the (potential) development of systems for the analysis of multi-source, multi-date, multi-resolution data. Our primary approach is model inversion, or a sufficient approximation to that.
