Muiden Community Concierge / MOVE Agency

I'm the founder of MOVE Agency and its first product, Muiden Community Concierge — a WhatsApp-based platform connecting residents of Muiden, Netherlands with trusted local specialists, from garden care to homework tutoring, without asking anyone to download a new app.

I moved to the Netherlands as an American building a life and a business from scratch, and quickly learned that Muiden, like a lot of tight-knit towns, doesn't hand out trust easily to newcomers. That challenge became the real product insight: the hardest part of hyperlocal commerce isn't the technology — it's earning the right to be useful in a community that already works fine without you.

Before this, I spent 18 years as an educator, building a high school dance program from 26 students to over 250, serving as Performing Arts Chair, and overseeing a federal enrichment grant with a staff of 40+. That work taught me the same lesson I'm applying now: you build trust and participation one relationship at a time, not with a pitch, but with consistent, visible follow-through.

Muiden Community Concierge soft-launched in July 2026. I lead community outreach, sales, and partnerships, while my partner Robert builds the technical architecture — an AI-driven matching system, WhatsApp Business API integration, and Dutch-native payments running behind the scenes. We're now exploring how to bring the same model to other towns and adjacent services, from vacation rental concierge support to local business marketing.
