Miss UMA is a global platform and online retailer dedicated to uplifting the beauty and power of the WOMAN. Miss UMA does this by ensuring that our brands and products aren’t only top of the line, but also adhere to the manufacturing guidelines. Women who practice Islam are often labelled as suppressed or oppressed and are often stereotyped as ones who hide behind “scarves”. In actuality these women come in all shades and from various cultural backgrounds (including the West) and are a symbol of strength and power in their own communities. Miss UMA strives to share the stories of women who’re mothers, wives and/or successful in business. The most important thing is to show that we’re not monolithic, instead a diverse power base well worth exploring.

Miss UMA is a one stop shop for information, inspiration, shopping and networking. We plan to help bridge the gap by sharing carefully vetted stories through our blog and products from various corners of the globe.
