Welcome to the most accessible fitness in Noord-Brabant (a province in the south of the Netherlands): MidlifeFitness. As a personal trainer, Maik helps you to live a (more) healthy and vital life. In the lessons and videos, Maik mainly focuses on people in their Midlife without refering to a specific age. How do you know if you belong to this target group? Maik says: You are in your Midlife when you no longer consider yourself young but you also do not see yourself behind the geraniums yet (a dutch proverb :-)). For example: When you have lost youthful energy and are stuck in everyday (bad)habits, and you can no longer spend enough time on your physical and mental health. So your physical and/or mental development is at a standstill. Often you physically deteriorate, so that your body literally rusts. The following motto is therefore an important point in all lessons and videos.

'A healthy mind in a healthy body', or in Latin 'Mens sana in corpore sano'. It represents the ideal of versatility. A person is only healthy if he/she is engaged in both intellectual and sporting activities.
