Dear community,

Have you just moved to the Netherlands? That’s exciting, but challenging at the same time. You’re now in a new country, meaning a new culture, new rules, new habits, new friends, and of course a new beautiful language which is easy to learn!

My name is Lucien Biringanine, I’m from Congo and currently living in Amsterdam. I created Media Concerns to give you the opportunity to ask or find answers to questions that you may have regarding living in the Netherlands. You will find a lot of resources online that will direct you in how to do certain things here and will answer some of the questions that you might have. But let me be honest, you don’t need help only from these formal sources. Most of the time we learn from other people’s experiences and advice, especially here in the Netherlands.

At Media Concerns, we search for any questions that newcomers might be having (tips, recommendations, advice) and we bring them to locals or other immigrants.

We want to help the members in our community to find answers to questions that you can’t google. If you want to know how to create a DigiD account, google is your place. But if, for instance, you want to know how to get your degree here in the Netherlands without complications, then please, join us!
