Over ME Vereniging Nederland

The ME Vereniging Nederland, founded in 2011, is the national patient association for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis in the Netherlands. The association, which is linked to the Stichting ME Research, provides information, advocacy and support. For its funding, it depends mostly on contributions and donations. Current activities include: - a quarterly patient survey; - the development of guidance documents; - the yearly national ME information day; - lectures and interviews on YouTube. The ME Vereniging Nederland is a founding member of the 'Samenwerkingsverband Pijnpatiënten naar één stem'​, a cooperative union of patient organizations on the topic of chronic pain.
