Words have always been my instrument. But so has colour. As a drama teacher, spoken word artist, poet, painter, and jazz vocalist, I live at the crossroads of every form of human expression. For me, creativity is not divided into disciplines — it is one continuous act of seeing the world deeply and sharing it honestly. I write poems. I paint canvases. I perform on stage. I teach in the classroom. And in every one of these spaces, I am doing the same thing — searching for the truth that lives beneath the surface, and finding the most powerful way to bring it into the light. Poetry sharpens my eye for detail. Painting teaches me patience and the courage of a blank page. Jazz reminds me that the most memorable moments happen when you trust the space between the notes. And drama gives my students what every human being needs — the freedom to be fully seen. My work is grounded in Methode Doelwijt — a purposeful, goal-oriented approach that places the individual at the centre of the learning experience. Whether I am guiding a student through their first monologue, composing a spoken word piece, or standing before a canvas, the intention is always the same: to unlock authentic expression and make it count. I work with students, professionals, and organisations who understand that creativity is not a soft skill — it is the skill.
