LUCI is the best available solution based on sensor technology for monitoring and improving animal health in the stall, which in turn improves the health and safety through the entire dairy chain.

LUCI is a innovative and fully automated technology for measuring somatic cells during the milking process in order to detect sub-clinical mastitis. The chemical method uses ATP luminescence as an indicator of the number of somatic cells.

The technology can be used to measure in-line and external lab tests are no longer necessary. The system can be integrated in automatic milking systems (AMS) which allows farmers to monitor and manage the health of individual cows and the total herd in an automated way.
