Over Locals Plus

When Local Plus began this year due to Corona pandemic, our founders sought to encompass not just the popular “ Go local” rhetoric but to capture something greater. Our organization’s name represents more than just Tourism. “Locals Plus” is a call to action for consumers, businesses, organizations, and residents to steadfastly support the local economy and communities.

Locals Plus work is three-fold: We educate travelers, consumers on the benefits of keeping their euros/dollars local We actively promote independent cooperatives and service providers We help local businesses stay competitive through workshops, networking events, policy initiatives, and advocacy work.

Locals Plus is devoted to raising the visibility and viability of locally-owned businesses because we believe in local culture, economy and character.
