Over Leiden Data Science Foundation

Leiden Data Science (LDS) is a registered nonprofit organization, currently funded by the Leids Stimuleringsfonds and KWERI BV, serving as the community hub for data science and AI in the Leiden area including Den Haag. We bring together data science professionals and researchers from academia, industry, and government to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and support emerging talent. As a fantastic place to network, our events provide valuable connections and insights across sectors. Each networking event concludes with food and drinks, creating an open environment for meaningful exchange. All events are held in English, free of charge, and advance registration is required via Meetup.

Our Mission:  build a robust data science and AI ecosystem in the Leiden and The Hague region by connecting academia, industry, and society.

Our Vision:  establish a vibrant local data science and AI community that drives innovation in the Leiden and The Hague region, positioning it as a prominent center for Health and Life Sciences and Law and Policy development.
