In_Charge is located on the magical island of Madeira in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Five times in a row voted best island destination in the world, providing an ideal and stunning backdrop to the course. Madeira is an autonomous region of Portugal and has around 250.000 inhabitants. Within easy reach of Europe with an average flight time of 3.5 hours, Madeira is ideally located. Madeira offers a very mild climate with summer temperatures averaging around 26 degrees and winter temperatures of about 20 degrees. One of the main advantages of Madeira is that it is almost pollution free with extremely clean air, clear blue waters surrounding the island and beautiful green mountains. Madeira offers a friendly local population and a good infrastructure. The geographical location in the Atlantic means that you can see whales, sea turtles and dolphins daily and the island offers numerous land and sea based activities. Amongst these activities are Big-Game fishing for Marlin & Tuna (Catch & Release), Mountaineering, Levada walks, Canyoning, Diving, Paragliding, Surfing,and many other sports.
