We believe the way artistic teams discover and hire talent should be as inspiring as the work they create. Yet today, artistic recruitment still runs on fragmented workflows; PDFs, spreadsheets, YouTube links, email chains, and manual review processes that fail to properly showcase artistic skill. Talent is reduced to attachments, exceptional performers get overlooked, and the magic of discovering artists gets lost in administrative overload.

We are changing that.

Lanced is a unified hiring platform where theaters, dance companies and freelance companies can manage auditions, applications, and talent selection in one central system. For dancers, Lanced offers a professional space to discover opportunities, present their work, and actively advance their careers.

What started as an audition management tool is evolving into something bigger: a new digital infrastructure for artistic hiring. By combining recruitment tools, talent databases, and collaborative review systems, Lanced helps artistic teams work faster, make better decisions, and connect with the right talent.
