Over Lampje aan

Lampje aan is a lighting design studio for interior and exterior architectural lighting, founded by Wim aan de Stegge. Operating in a wide range of applications, like museums, retail, hospitality, offices, monuments, facades, landscape, public space, etc. The most important starting point in our approach is the human emotional experience of light and space. Wherever possible we also follow the philosophy of Biophilic Design.

Aside from lighting design, Lampje aan also has the ambition to create space for art and experiment with dynamic lighting, in which the dynamics of nature are the main source of inspiration. These experiments aim to create a nature-like dynamic in the built environment. A dynamic that isn't isolated like any other luminaire, but is an integral part of the architecture, adding an almost self-evident natural dimension to our built environment.

In the end, the goal is for the lighting design projects and the experiment to merge, where the experiment finds its way into the lighting designs, and the design projects become a driver for further experiment.
