The company's name comes from Barcelona's Best Kept Secret Food Feast. A centenary barbecue tradition where adults and children eat delicious fire-roasted calçots and grilled meats.

A Ph.D. student in electronics (J. Delos) wanted to organize a Calçotada in Eindhoven for five friends. Before he realized it, more than a hundred people subscribed to the event. There were more than five hundred attendants in Eindhoven's annual festival three years later.

La Calçotada is the world's unique online platform that delivers multiple forms of Calçotada experiences in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Luxemburg. With more than 60.000 exported Calçots since 2014.

Our flagship product is La Calçotada Box, a home kit with all the necessary items to prepare your own Calçotada Experience. We also partner with restaurants and event organizations to create new Calçotada events.
