Over L3 Korfball Coaching Collaboration

In the current project the Royal Dutch Korfball Association (KNKV) and partners aim to develop an international level 3 / 4 coaching course, applicable in and adjustable to the educational systems of the participating countries. With the development of this course in cooperation with different countries we aim to bring more people in contact with the korfball sport as well as enhancing the independency, abilities and knowledge within the participating korfball associations. Equally important is our aim to strengthen the network and relationships between korfball associations. The partnering korfball associations are the associations from Germany (GKA), the Czech republic (CKA), and Turkey (MUFFS). Turkey is partnering in this project through the Marmara University, as their association is part of the faculty of sport Sciences and simultaneously a local sport club. In addition the International Korfball Federation (IKF) is a supporting partner in this project. The project members in this team are all certified coaches, ensuring the korfball expertise as well as the quality of the project outcomes. This project will be laid out over a period of one year to ensure the quality and sustainability of the outcomes of the project. We aim to have a full course made at the end of this project, which will be disseminated at one of the biggest korfball events in the world.
