Jonny got into music when he found a cassette tape down the side of a coach seat on a school trip when he was 13. He got home and played it and it got him hooked on the underground hardcore/rave scene. This is the same time he found Movement records in Southampton a regular jaunt every weekend to find the freshest vinyl. Learning to mix at the age of 14 DJ’ing music was in his blood. Moving on a few years and branching out into a new love of House music, deep funky grooves and soulful vocals as well as more tech house and darker edged music including techno. Jonny then was working in Movement records full time and also Dj’ing with James Zabiela in his early years at the Old Oriental. Securing a residency at The Rhino club (Uncut then Release nights) which lasted 8 years. Jonny’s DJ’ing took him to gigs across the South coast and up to London, Dj’ing at underground nights such as, Soulsonic, Faith, Legacy, The Kindergarden Klub, Killawatt, The Southport Weekender and many many more .
