Over Jongerenambassadeurs Tilburg

The Jongerenambassadeurs Tilburg are young people who try to activate their peers to change things in their home town. Through lectures, talks, presentations and by organizing events the Jongerenambassadeurs try to make sure that youth becomes involved in the society and that the organize the events they'd like to see in the neighbourhood. The Jongerenambassadeurs give money and support to young people to organize events and give advise to the City Council. In 2005 this project was chosen as best European Youth Participation project by the European Association for Institutions of Children and Youth (EAICY).
