The research Institute for Science in Society (ISiS) is home to a community of researchers committed to analyzing, assessing, and improving the societal embedding of science and technology. As an interdisciplinary research institute, we combine a plurality of approaches to investigate how scientists, citizens, technology developers, and other stakeholders understand the world around them and interact.

ISiS research has a strong ethical component and an ambition to align scientific understanding, socio-technical interaction and socio-ecological transformation to improve the current global condition.
