Over InfoBridge Network

InfoBridge Network, a network of senior development experts, has taken over the activities of the InfoBridge Foundation that wrapped up its activities in March 2026. The InfoBridge Foundation, a non-profit organization, was founded in 2002 in the Netherlands and carried out projects in research, capacity development, knowledge and information sharing and innovation for sustainable development and poverty alleviation until March 2026.

The experts of the InfoBridge Network continue to support local partners (NGOs, CBOs and networks) in Africa, Asia, Caribbean and Latin America, and Pacific, with advice, action research, capacity development and knowledge sharing to improve the livelihoods of rural and urban poor communities.

The InfoBridge Network continues activities in three programmes: 1. Applied Research for Development Fair Price Research focuses on the methodology how to calculate fair prices for smallholder farms. In this programme InfoBridge cooperates with the Living Income Community of Practice, Living Wage Lab and other researchers and practitioners. Several papers have been published so far in different magazines and the work has been discussed at several congresses and webinars. A book on the Living Income / Fair Price approach has been published in 2020.

2.Capacity development and Learning Building on the activities in the TeleSupport Capacity Building Programme InfoBridge is focusing on knowledge management and ICT4D by training, and supporting local partners in Africa and Asia through institutional development and skills development.

3. Knowledge sharing Knowledge sharing is one of the cornerstones for innovation in development. In this programme InfoBridge Foundation is developing knowledge services and products to support local partners and communities in Africa and Asia.
